KEIt - The name

The name KEIT Consulting, is an acronym for KaBars Edge IT Consulting. A Ka-Bar is a traditional US Marine Corp combat knife issued through the end of World War II and is a staple of everyday life in the Corps. While it is no longer issued, most Marines own at least one and it is often the Marines most constant companion during deployments, especially if that deployment is in an active theatre of combat. The a in Ka-Bar is pronounced "kay-bar."

We use the name KaBar in our company name as a way to honor our brothers and sisters currently serving and to depict the precision and tenacity with which we fulfill our professional obligations.
